Far too many people have developed the truly sad notion that a person’s current lot in life is what they are destined to be living in for the rest of their life. While it is true that almost nobody is born with Superman’s DNA to a set of parents who are as rich as Bill Gates, it is also true that nobody goes through a lifetime being completely without problems. We all face our own individual set of issues in this world. What matters in the end is how you deal with, and flow with the problems that come to you. While you have all kinds of options for dealing with the problems that you may be facing, such as having advanced age or a disability, you could always just give up. But do you really want that to be the legacy that you leave the world? Would you want, “Yep, another quitter” to be written on your tomb stone?
Yes, it is going to be very hard to climb the ladder of success when it may be difficult to so much as lift your arms. You may have all sorts of medical problems to deal with, and you might also have a lot of medical bills which go right along side them. But as the old saying goes, where there is a will there is also a way. Did you know that medical bills can often be negotiated, and you can place yourself on a payment plan (often at the lower medicare rate)? That can free up some of your money to put into something else.
Also, you do not need a lot of startup capital in the first place. You can do a search for websites that allow you to do freelance work right from the library, and work until you have saved up enough for a computer and Internet connection of your own. While it might sound like a really complicated thing and it is going to be plenty of work, you know you can build whatever you put your mind to, and really work hard at.
