Sometimes in life, we all need a hand in order to help us get ahead. While you might not think of yourself as the kind of person who would be needing to get help from someone else, it can often be the big difference between failing very badly and succeeding far sooner. While it is obviously important to have a plan, a positive outlook for your future success and a solid work ethic, these things may not always be enough to carry you toward (and into) your ultimate successes. Sometimes you just need the help of some good people, who can compensate for your own problems and for what you do not know. While you may be proud, pride can kill your efforts to do anything well.
If you have a very low income and have no job skills to speak of, then it is perfectly fine to ask someone to help you to learn them. There is absolutely no dishonor in asking for help when you really need it from someone else. After all, at some point down the line, someone just might need to ask you for some kind of help with something they might need to learn. And if you want to be able to render it, you have got to be on solid footing, yourself.
So until you can get back onto solid ground, and stand tall in your own right, do not be afraid or ashamed to ask for the help that you sincerely need. And if you happen to need financial help for something, the first step is to figure out a plan to never need this particular kind of help again. The second step is to try and negotiate with your creditor, and see if they will accept a payment plan. If the second step happens to fail, the third step is to ask for help with it.
